James Ray "Son" Booth, 80, of Grenada, MS passed away on Tuesday, September 5, 2017 at Baptist Memorial Hospital, DeSoto. During his working career he worked in maintenance and as an over the road truck driver. He was preceded in death by a son, Melton Booth, also 4 sisters and 5 brothers. Mr. Booth leaves two daughters: Sandra Jones (Fred) and Ethel Hendricks (Chris); two sons: Timothy Booth and Michael Booth; two step-sons: Wendell Booth and Chris Calder; two brothers: Gary Booth (Joyce) and Robert Booth; one sister in-law, Pat Booth; four grandchildren: Tiffany Jackson, Tyler Reece (Laura) Catheryne Booth and Carolann Booth; also four great-grandchildren. Visitation will be Saturday, September 9 from 12:30 to 2 p.m. with service immediately following. Burial will be in Forest Hill South Cemetery.
