James Edward Stanley Sr. (Porkchop), 84, passed away Monday, May 9, 2022 at his home in Drummonds, TN with his wife of 65 years at his side. He leaves behind his wife, Margaret Stanley; two daughters, Cynthia Pope (Robert), Janice Turner (Thomas); three sons, Patrick Stanley, Donald Stanley (Brenda), Perry Stanley; eleven grandchildren, seventeen great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren; one brother in law, Ralph Key; a nephew Randy Key; a daughter in law, Ginger Stanley. He is preceded in death by his parents, Woodrow and Myrtle  Stanley; his sister Carolyn, and one son James Stanley Jr.

James was a longtime member of the Munford Masonic Lodge 226. In his free time he enjoyed spending time with family and friends, hunting, riding motorcycles, piddling in his garage and taking care of horses.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, May 17, 2022 from 1:00-2:00p.m. with funeral services starting at 2:00p.m. at Forest Hill Funeral Home East. Burial will follow at Forest Hill East Cemetery 2440 Whitten Rd., Memphis, TN 38133.
