James Terrell, 83, passed away with his family by his side in Southaven, Mississippi on May 13, 2019.  Mr. Terrell had been retired from First Tennessee Bank, and had been in the Tennessee Air National Guard.  He was a member of Labelle Haven Baptist Church in Olive Branch, MS.  He was preceded in death by his son, Michael Roye Terrell; grandaughter, Amanda Suzanne Terrell; parents, John Terrell and Agnes Floyd; and sister, Patsy Lipe.  Left to honor and cherish his memory are his loving wife of 60 1/2 years, Virginia Roye Terrell; daughters, Jennifer Marie (Jerry Lynn) Collard and Leslie Marie (Melissa) of Detroit, MI; and son, Anthony Wayne "Andy" Terrell of Southaven.  Mr. Terrell was blessed with ten grandchildren:  William, Stephanie, Aaron, Lauren, Ryan, Emily, Allison, Noah, Quinn, Nathan; and three great grandchildren: Adrianna, Brayden and Kason.  Mr. Terrell was a volunteer for The Ronald McDonald House, and had received a "Lifetime Achievement Award."  Visitation with his family will be on Thursday, May 16, 2019, from 12:30-2:00 p.m., with his service following at 2:00 p.m. at Labelle Haven Baptist Church; 4800 Highway 305 North; Olive Branch, MS.  Internment will be at Forest Hill Cemetery and Memorial Park, South  901-382-1000
