James R. Weaver, 91, passed away March 21, 2017. Visitation will be held at Forest Hill Funeral Home-East Friday, March 24th from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. Funeral Services will be at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, also at Forest Hill Funeral Home-East. Mr. Weaver was a veteran of the United States Navy and a retired Millwrights Business Agent. He also enjoyed square dance calling where he called for Top Spinners, Dungarees & Petticoats, and Cotton Town Castoffs. He also owned a clothing store that sold square dancing attire, GJ''s Western Vesture. Survivors include his wife of 26 years, Gin Weaver; sons Michael Weaver (Elizabeth) and Brian Deweese; 5 grandchildren: Mason Weaver, Jordon Deweese, Skylar Deweese, Ava Deweese and Molly Kiestler; one great grandchild, Grace Becker; and a host of nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Alzheimer''s Association.
