Jamie Rose Weigandt died peacefully at The Goldton of Southaven, an assisted living home. She was 89 years old, and was born 7/17/1934 in Faulkner Mississippi to Roy J and Jennie Belle McElwain. Jamie graduated from Whitehaven High School class of 1952 in Memphis Tennessee.  July 23, 1953 she married William Weigandt and settled in Memphis Tennessee. Jamie retired from  MLGW as an administrative assistant at age 83.  She is preceded in death by her husband, William Weigandt, her father Roy J. McElwain, her mother Jennie Belle McElwain, her brother Roy J. McElwain Jr. and her sister Nadine Roberts.  She is survived by 2 sons, Bill (Rhonda) and Tommy (Melodie), 2 grand children, 8 great-grand children, 5 step-grand children and 4 step great-grand children.

Services will be held at Forrest Hill Funeral Home Midtown at 2 PM on Monday 7/15/2024. All arrangements are be handled by Forrest Hill Funeral Home Midtown at 1661 Elvis Presley Blvd, Memphis Tennessee.
