Janea Newton Malone, of Southaven, MS, passed away on Thursday, March 3, 2016 after a courageous battle with cancer. She is preceded in death by her parents: James A. and Jennie M. Newton. She is survived by her loving husband of 21 years, Terry Malone as well as her children: Laura Danaher (Wes) of Houston, TX, Cal Malone and Molly Malone of Southaven; her sister, Joann Newton Hutchins of Cedar Grove, TN; her grandchildren: Kynnadi, Caleigh, Jayden and Charli; nieces: Patti Hutchins and Paula Gordon: all of whom she loved with all her heart. In addition to being retired after working over 30 years as an analyst for the IRS, Janea was very much a second Mom to many umpires at the Snowden Grove Baseball Complex. Visitation for Janea will be at Forest Hill South on Sunday, March 6 from 3 to 5 p.m. with funeral Monday at 10 a.m. Burial will follow in Forest Hill South Cemetery.
