Sister-in-law, Debbie Stroud (Dewayne) and brother-in-law Skip Betts (Maria).

Janet graduated from Baptist Memorial Hospital School of Nursing on September 26, 1960, and was hired on that same date by the hospital as a staff nurse. She spent her entire nursing career at the hospital until she retired as Head Administrative Nurse on August 30, 1991.

Family, friends and many of Janet’s acquaintances remember her as a caring and thoughtful person; someone you could contact when you needed her readily available medical advice. While we will miss her dearly, we will always have special memories and moments we shared with her.

In lieu of flowers, we ask that you donate to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
