Janet Mae Wells Burcham, 73, surrounded by the love of her family, went peacefully to be with her Lord and Savior Tuesday, April 7, 2015 after suffering a heart attack at Methodist North Hospital. In 2001, she retired from being an Office Manager at Snap-On Tools after 34 years of service. Janet was the youngest daughter born to the late Fred Preston Wells, Sr. and Fairy Mae Tate Wells, and was born on December 16, 1941 in Memphis, Tennessee. She was an inspiring younger sister to Fred Preston Wells, Jr. of Olive Branch, Mississippi and Patricia Wells Watkins (husband, Keith Watkins) of Memphis. Her and Pat were considered joined at the hip because they did everything together. Their bond was inseparable. Janet was the beloved and loving wife to the late Horace Ronnie Burcham of 55 years, the precious loving mother to Vincent Ronnie Burcham and daughter-in-law, Shannon Sing Burcham, Harrison, AR and Ronnie Elliott Burcham and wife, Kim Walls Burcham of Collierville, TN. She had four amazing loving grandchildren who called her "Grandma": Ronnie Austin Burcham 30, wife, Eva Suzanne Peterson Burcham and great-granddaughter, Sarah Noelle, 3, from Green Forest, AR, Cole Elliott Burcham, 28 from Kingston, AR, Carson Elliott Burcham, 19, and Delaney Olivia Tate Burcham, 16, both from Collierville, TN. There are no words that can describe the amount of love and compassion Janet had for her entire family. Janet''s sweet smile would brighten any room she was in. Her favorite things were being with her family spending time with her grandkids and her 3 year old great-granddaughter, laughing with her contagious smile, coupon cutting, grocery shopping, watching her favorite soap opera, Days of Our Lives every day with her sister whether it was over the phone or together. She loved watching Paula Dean''s cooking show and trying all her delicious recipes and she loved her Diet Coke! She was a church member at Temple Baptist Church in Olive Branch, MS. The visitation will be held from 12:30-2 p.m., with funeral at 2 p.m. all held at Forest Hill South Funeral Home located at 2545 East Holmes Road in Memphis, TN 38118 on Friday, April 10, 2015. The graveside service will be immediately following in Forest Hill South Cemetery. The family suggests any memorials be sent to St. Jude Children''s Research Hospital.
