Janet R. Wilkerson, 71, of Cordova, passed peacefully after a long chronic illness on January 12, 2014. She is survived by her daughter, Andrea Wilkerson (Elizabeth Nelson) of Memphis; son, Tim Wilkerson (Ruiqing) of Beijing; two granddaughters, Angela Reaves, Taylor Wilkerson; two step-grandsons, Cody and Jacob Nelson; a great-granddaughter, Emma Reaves; sister, Shirley Anglin; and two brothers, Carl Chism, Jr., and Joe Chism. Mrs. Wilkerson was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Wilkerson; and son, Daniel Wilkerson. A private celebration of her life will be held at her daughter''s home.
