Janie Sharp, 79 of Bartlett, passed away July 28, 2022.

She is survived by her husband, Billy Sharp; two sons, Darrell Sharp and Dale Sharp (Kimberly); one brother, William Simmons (Sondra); three sister in laws, Jo Ann Simmons, Elizabeth King, and Sharon Echols; three brother in laws, Leslie Sharp, Gary Sharp, and Roy Sharp; four grandchildren, Mallory Sharp, Audrey Sharp, Clayton Sharp, and Katie Beth Sharp, and a host of nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by one son, Michael Sharp; her parents, Virgil and Lottie Mae Simmons; one brother, Larry Simmons; one sister in law, Ruth Tacker; and two brother in laws, Eunice Sharp, and Larry Sharp.

Janie had a servant's heart, she looked to help others as much and as often as possible. She was a member of Quail Ridge Church of Christ where she enjoyed working in Sunday School and creating bulletin boards. She loved being active, socializing, and just going on drives around town.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Quail Ridge Church of Christ (6364 Egypt Central Rd. Bartlett, TN) and the Tennessee Children's Home.
