Jean Brandenburg, 90, died peacefully December 14 at St Francis Hospital, three months after the death of George, her beloved husband of 66 years. She was also predeceased by their dear son Daryl Brandenburg of New Orleans, Louisiana and leaves to cherish her memory 3 daughters: Nancy Kuhn (Brian Kuhn) of Memphis, TN; Marilyn Jones of Lake Placid, FL; and Janet Cooper (Jeff Cooper) of Lexington, NC; 8 loving grandchildren and 12 precious great-grandchildren. She is survived by her brothers Frank Schipani, Joseph Schipani, and Anthony Schipani and numerous nieces and nephews of Michigan. She touched many with her loving kindness and smile, and we will all miss "Mimi". A memorial service will be held at the Church of the River, 292 Virginia Avenue West, at 11 a.m. on February 1, 2014. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the church (P O Box 683, 38101) or to the charity of the donor''s choice.
