Jean Fritz Gillespie, 95, passed away peacefully on Thursday, September 5, 2019.   She was born in Galesburg, IL, on March 11, 1924.  She attended the University of Western Illinois.  She leaves behind three children, Elizabeth Gillespie Flexsenhar and husband, Michael Jr., Edwin Cyril Gillespie, III, and John Huey Gillespie and wife Diane.   Jean is also survived by eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.  Jean was well-traveled, an avid cook and gardener.  She was loved by all who knew her and will be greatly missed.   Family and friends will gather to share memories 11:00 am – 11:30 am, Wednesday, followed by services at 11:30 am, both at Germantown Presbyterian Church, 2363 S Germantown  Rd., Germantown, Tn   38138
