Jeanine Agnes
Penn
Nov 30, 1932 — Jul 2, 2023
Jeanine Agnes Penn died in her home in Southaven, MS. on July 2, 2023 at the age of 90 surrounded by family. She lived in Southaven, MS. and was a member of Graceland Christian Church. She retired from Baptist Hospital after 30 years of service. She was very independent and active in a variety of activities. She played bingo on Tuesdays, Cards on Wednesday and Friday and for many years square danced and clogged. The love for her family was extraordinary to say the least. She never let anyone feel excluded and took her role as the matriarch of the family very serious. She very much enjoyed having her extremely large family gatherings on several holidays or just any Sunday. The noise of the grandchildren and chaos that came with that became the soundtrack of her life and she didn't want it any other way. Cooking for them all and making their favorite dishes was among her favorite things to do! You couldn't be in her company and feel anything but tremendous love and she made everyone feel special. The memories surrounding her life are too precious and numerous to articulate.
Jeanine was born on November 30, 1932 to Herman Carl Olson and Adeline M Young.
