Jeffrey Dale Chapell, was born June 19,1961 in Memphis, TN. He passed away on May 16,2025 after a lengthy illness that did not deprive him of a sense of humor, a love of his Savior, and the affection of a large extended family.

Jeff loved his many nieces and nephews, treasured his dog, Red, and was fascinated by art reflecting Native American culture.  He graduated from Bethel Baptist High School.
Throughout the years he traveled with coworkers to many destinations that he never forgot.

Jeff's family now grieves his passing but rejoices with the gospel promise that assures us that Jeff is now with his Savior, more whole in spirit that he ever experienced in this life.

Jeff is survived by five siblings: Gordon Chapell (Lynn), Gary Chapell (Pennye), Bryan Chapell (Kathleen), Cyndee Chapell Maestri (Wayne), and Shannon Chapell (Rachel).  In addition, he was loved by 16 nieces and nephews, and 28 grand nieces and nephews.

Jeff is preceded in death by his parents: Wayman Glen Chapell and Elizabeth Morris Chapell.
