Hernando - Jeffrey Scott Jones, 33, passed away Tuesday, February 18, 2014 at his home. He was an electrician and member of IBEW, Local 474 and a graduate of First Assembly Christian School. Mr. Jones is survived by his parents, Jerry and Joyce Minton Jones of Southaven, MS; grandparents, Frances and Jimmy Minton of Hernando, MS and Vina Jones of Southaven, MS, and the love of his life, Michelle Quinn and her son, Austin, his "little buddy". He is also survived by his half-sister, Beth Johnston of FL. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Harmel Jones, Sr. Visitation will be 12-2 p.m., Saturday, February 22, with services to follow at 2 p.m., all at Forest Hill South Funeral Home. Interment will be in Forest Hill Midtown Cemetery. The family requests any memorials be sent to First Assembly Christian School Scholarship Fund.
