Jennie Lucille Holden, age 91, resident of Whiteville, TN. departed this life Saturday, February 19, 2022 at her home. She was born April 15, 1930 to Robert Vincent Hardee and Jennie Lynn Hardee Golightly. She loved reading, gardening, working in her flower bed, having her family around and reminiscing of days gone by. Jennie was a Baptist by faith and her membership was at Morris Chapel Baptist Church in Somerville, TN. She attended services as long as she was able to go.

Jennie is survived by two sons, Robert Edward Holden (Patsy) of Camden, TN., William Author Holden of the home; three daughters, Dorothy Ellen (Hulon) Lessel of Whiteville, TN, Virginia Ann Pittman (Johnny) of Somerville, TN, Linda Gail Holden of Galloway, TN; three sisters, Betty Sue Culver of Somerville, TN, Peggy Yarbrough of Somerville, TN, and Diane Joyner of Collierville, TN; fourteen grandchildren; and a host of great and great greats that she loved dearly, as they did her. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Burdell Holden; one son, Charles David Holden; one daughter, Barbara Louise Crawford; two grandsons, Robert Holden Jr. and Donald Lessel; five brothers, Robert Hardee, Tim Hardee, Buck Golightly, Bill Golightly, Wayne Golightly; and one sister, Marie Fortune.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, February 23, 2022 from 9:00-10:00a.m. at Forest Hill Funeral Home 2440 Whitten Rd., Memphis, TN 38133 with funeral services starting at 10:00a.m.
