Jennifer L. Smith, 36, passed away peacefully on July 25, 2026, surrounded by her loving family and her oldest, dearest friends.

Jennifer entered this world on March 17, 1990, in Memphis, Tennessee, bringing light and joy to everyone fortunate enough to know her. She was the beloved daughter of Janet and Jesse Smith.

Jennifer dedicated more than a decade of her life to LongHorn Steakhouse, where she met the love of her life, Marc Greene Jr., as well as many lifelong friends who became like family. She had a deep love for animals—especially dogs—and adored her four beloved companions: Copper, Mika, Wilbur, and Jasmine, who were truly her babies.

Jennifer embraced life wholeheartedly and found beauty in life’s simple moments. She loved painting, arts and crafts, and expressing her creativity in countless ways. What she cherished most was simply spending time with those she loved and her dogs. She had a remarkable ability to make people laugh, offer unwavering love and support, and, when necessary, deliver one of her unforgettable sharp-witted remarks. Her vibrant spirit left a lasting impression on everyone fortunate enough to know her.

Jennifer was preceded in death by her oldest brother, Jason, in 2017, and her older brother, Justin, in 2025.

She leaves behind her loving parents, Janet and Jesse Smith; the love of her life, Marc Greene Jr.; numerous nieces and nephews who adored her beyond measure; and countless friends whose lives were forever changed by her kindness, humor, and unwavering love.

Jennifer’s legacy lives on in the memories she created, the laughter she shared, and the love she gave so freely. She will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved her, watching over them with her beautiful smile, endless love, and perhaps a clever remark whenever they do something foolish. She was truly one in eight billion—a woman whose kindness, strength, and spirit can never be replaced. The impact she made and the love she leaves behind are far greater than words mere words are able to express. Though she is deeply missed, her light will continue to shine in the hearts of all who were blessed to know her.
