Jenny Geraldine Hand Heath passed away peacefully after a long illness on October 9, 2015. Geraldine was 86 years old and the daughter of Jesse Newt Hand and Suzanna Burkeen Hand. She was preceded in death by her husband Joseph Wilbur Heath, and a son Jeffrey Wilbur Heath (Barbara) of Brighton, TN. She leaves behind two children Stan Heath (Susan) of Bartlett, TN, Ronald Mark Heath (Debbie) of Bartlett, TN, 8 grandchildren, Jay Heath (Rose) of Ripley, TN, Brian Heath of Olive Branch, MS, Kevin Heath (Amanda) of Brighton, TN, Meredith Boulden (Dustin) of Memphis, TN, Morgan Suarez (Randy) of Bartlett, TN, Marcus Heath (Ashley) of Memphis, TN, Elizabeth Grass (Daniel) of Alpharetta, GA, and Jennifer Heath of Bartlett, TN, 9 great-grandchildren, two sisters, Zada Nowell of La Habra, CA and Lavelle Cotham of Brevard, NC. She was a long time member of the Bartlett Hills Baptist Church in Bartlett, TN. Geraldine retired after 30 years of service from Sears Roebuck and Company. She leaves behind a loving family and many friends in her community who will miss her greatly. Visitation will be 2- 4 p.m. Sunday, October 11 and service at 12:30 p.m. Monday, October 12 at Forest Hill East Funeral Home. Graveside service will be at 2:30 p.m. at Archers Chapel Cemetery in Frog Jump, TN. The family asks that donations be made to Bartlett Hills Baptist Church in lieu of flowers.
