Southaven - Jere Lee King, 72, widower of Barbara Ann Billingsley King passed away Saturday, April 5, 2014, from pneumonia and other medical complications. Jere was a retired Postal Worker with the Federal Government for over 35 years. He leaves one brother, Bill King; niece and great-nephew, Dana and Alec Mulvihill; three daughters, LeAnn Somborn; Lisa Edwards and Sonja Lloyd; five grand-children and three great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends 12-2 p.m., Wednesday, April 9, followed by services at 2 p.m., both at Forest Hill Funeral Home-Midtown. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Crossroads Hospice Charitable Foundation or The American Cancer Society in memory of Jere and the love of his life-Barbara.
