Jerry Dixon, 77, of Memphis, TN died peacefully at his home on Sunday June 7, 2015. He is preceded in death by his wife, Juanita Dixon; parents, Kendrick and Eunice Dixon; and sisters, Peggy Dixon and Ruby Hindman. He is survived by his daughters: Connie (George ) Lonney, Kathleen (Dana) Purcell, and Lori (Steven) Tenorio; grandchildren: Danny (Jessica) Looney, Timothy Looney, and Zackary Tenorio; and great-grandchildren: Brady Looney, Colby Looney, Kirsten Looney, and Sadie Looney. Founder and former owner of A-1 Business Machines, Jerry was loved and respected by those fortunate enough to know him. He was a good man, took care of many, and will be greatly missed. The family will receive friends from 5-7 pm on Thursday June 11, 2015 at Forest Hill Home South on East Holmes Road. A funeral mass will be held at 1:00 pm on Friday June 12, 2015 at St. Paul Catholic Church on Shelby Drive in Whitehaven where he was a member. Interment will follow at Forest Hill Cemetery, South.
