Jerry L. Revalee, Sr., 77 years old, of Memphis, TN, went to be with The Lord on Tuesday, June 30, 2020. He passed away peacefully at Methodist Hospital North following a brief illness. Jerry was born on September 14, 1942, in Terre Haute, Indiana, the son of Harold Franklin Revalee and Lois Helen (Tyhurst) Revalee. He was married for 42 years to Peggy Meadors Revalee. He is survived by his wife, Peggy, and 2 sons, Jerry Jr., and Joel. He also leaves 1 brother, Larry Revalee, and his wife, Shaaron, of Brazil, Indiana. Jerry pastored for 7 years in his hometown of Casey, Illinois. After moving to Memphis, he was a member of Grey Road Pentecostal Church for 34 years, where he was a Sunday school teacher and minister. He taught at Apostolic Bible College in Memphis for 20 years, and often recalled stories and memories of the alumni - some of whom went on to become pastors, missionaries, and teachers. Mr. Revalee served as a medic in the United States Army during the Vietnam War, where he left a great testimony and witness and influenced many lives. Visitation will be on Monday, July 6, from 5-7 pm, and funeral service on Tuesday, July 7 at 2 pm, both at Forest Hill Funeral Home East.
