Jerry Schroeppel (know as Pop to his grandchildren) ,76, of Germantown, TN passed away on April 18 ^th, 2020.

Jerry was born on March 29, 1944 to Harry and Clelia Schroeppel in New Orleans. After graduating from Whitehaven High School in 1962, he went on to receive his Bachelor's degree in Business from Memphis State University and then earned his Masters of Business Administration from The University of Virginia.After graduation, he landed his first job as a Loan Officer for NBC Bank, kicking off a 50 year career in the Financial Services industry.  During this time, Jerry managed several insurance agencies as well as starting two companies focusing on providing financial and accounting services to small business owners.

In 1964, he met Linda Siler Schroeppel and they wed in 1965.  Their two daughters (Deanna and Kristen) were born in 1965 and 1971 respectively.

Jerry was predeceased by his parents, Harry and Clelia Schroeppel. He is survived by his loving wife, Linda Siler Schroeppel; his sister, Linda Schroeppel; his daughter Deanna Wimberly and son-in-law, Scott Wimberly; his daughter Kristen Hood and son-in-law Vince Hood; and two grandchildren, Lauren Wimberly and Connor Hood.

Jerry was a huge sports fan and an avid Memphis Tiger fan, attending countless Tiger basketball games as a season ticket holder.  Jerry touched many lives with his kindness and generosity.  He is known for making sacrifices for his family and friends – always thinking about them first.  Jerry truly lived life to the fullest.  He will be dearly missed by many.
