Jerry G. Simpson, 84, of Alcorn, Mississippi passed away on July 2, 2023.

Jerry was a true man of service. Not only did he serve our country in the United States Army. He worked for Sears for 40 years before retiring. He held many positions there and clearly loved what he did. He also loved boating, fishing and hunting. After retiring, he worked in boating in Pickwick and was very active in church at Pickwick United Methodist Church. Jerry looked forward to making coffee and cooking for the Men's Club.

Jerry is survived by his wife of 64 years, Mamie Simpson; two brothers, Bobby Simpson (Carol) and Larry Simpson (Thelma).

Jerry was preceded in death by his parents, William and Bardee Simpson; one sister, Jean Simpson; and one brother, Billy Joe Simpson.
