Jerry Lane Thomas, passed away on August 8, 2017 in Memphis, TN. He is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Martha Helen Thomas; 3 children -- Robert Thomas (Kim), Ann McClure (Jimmy), and Jerry Thomas (Ericka). He has 7 grandchildren: Chris Smith, Robyn Thomas, Raven Thomas, Charlie Thomas, Derrick McClure, Reagan McClure, and Ella Marie Thomas. He has one great grandchild, Tyler Smith. He is also survived by twin brother, Terry Wayne Thomas (Paula) and his sister, Joyce Ilona Brady (Bill). Mr. Thomas was preceded in death by his parents William and Annie Thomas; two brothers, William Roland Thomas, Jr. and Jimmy Dale Thomas. Mr. Thomas loved a lot of things. He had a passion for vehicles, from flying airplanes with the Civil Air Patrol in Arkansas to owning and operating his own 18 wheeler truck and a motorcycle. He was active with the Volunteer Fire Dept of Snow Lake Shores, MS. It will be our honor to have his services at Forest Hill Funeral Home, South, Friday August 11, 2017; visitation from 12:30-2:00, with the service following at 2:00 p.m.
