Jesus "Jesse" Ocampo Arrambide aka "Pepo"
December 1, 1935 – December 24, 2020
"You may have gone fishin'......
but you will never be forgotten"

Jesse's story:
His journey began on December 1, 1935 in El Campo, Texas or as he always sang,"down by the river".
His mother was Natividad Ocampo Arrambide and his father was Gregorio Arrambide. He later lived a
comfortable lifestyle which he made by marrying with Dominga Arrambide. They later had a house filled
with beautiful children and grandchildren. He kept those around him laughing. He was such a kind and
welcoming soul, he knew no stranger. He spent his days with family, always cherishing time with those
around him. You would catch him getting ready to go fishing or fixing something, even if it didn't need it.
Jesse "Pepo" as all his grandchildren would call him, had a heart of a lion. He had a humble heart for
connecting with others. Your life was a blessing and your memory a treasure. You are loved beyond
words and missed beyond measure. And although he stopped counting after 80, he was called home at
age 85 on December 24, 2020.

Poem:
"He never looked for praises
He was never one to be boast
He just went on quietly working
For the ones he loved the most.
His dreams were seldom spoken
His wants were very few
And most of the time his worries
Went unspoken too.
He was there... a firm foundation
Through all our storms of life,
A sturdy hand to hold on to
In times of stress and strife.
A true friend we could turn to
When times were good and bad
One of our greatest blessings
The man that we called DAD."
