Jewel Butler, 87, went home on January 13, 2017. She was born August 23, 1929 in Booneville, MS to the late Ernest and Estella White. Mrs. Butler was a longtime employee of Plough and then retired from WalMart. She was a member of Bartlett United Methodist Church. Mrs. Butler was preceded in death by her husband of 42 years, John G. Butler; husband, Thomas Bouzine of 10 years and her brother, Melvin White. She is survived by her son, Charles Butler; daughter, Patricia Butler; four sisters, Clairine McCoy, Vera Reasons, Ernestine Lowery, Stella Thomason; two grandchildren, William J. Butler and Cheryl R. McCarty and a great-grandson, Ayden. Visitation will be 12 p.m. until service begins at 2 p.m. on Thursday, January 19 at Forest Hill Funeral Home & Memorial Park, East with interment following.
