Evelyn (89) is preceded by her husband of 46 years James M. Shackelford (67) She leaves behind 2 sons. James M. Shackelford Jr. and his wife Jeanette of Olive Branch, MS. And Rick Shackelford and his wife Krista also of Olive Branch, MS. Evelyn was a member of the First Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Olive Branch. She was a member of the Zamon Ladies Auxiliary, Daughter of the Nile, Life Member of the National 600 Bowling League, member of the American Postal Workers Union and a lifetime member of the Memphis Stamp Club. Growing up on a dairy farm made her a hard worker. She was quick witted and a feisty lady. She was always there to help other in charitable work
and loved her family deeply.
