James "Jim" Fugitt was born in Booneville, MS on November 13, 1947 to the late Jeff Fugitt and Mae Coveor Fugitt. Jim attended and graduated from West Memphis High School in Arkansas. He also attended State Tech and Memphis State (now the University of Memphis). He worked as a Production Manager for Smith and Nephew  and a Safety Officer for FedEx. Jim loved to play golf and enjoyed working in his yard.

He is survived by his loving wife Ann, 2 stepchildren, Hunter Logan (Julie), Kelly Jones (Darren), 2 grandsons, Bryce Logan and Logan Jones, and 2 great-grandchildren.
