Jimmie Lou Williams Bolton, 89, of Memphis died September 13, 2013. She was born in Memphis, February 23, 1924 to James Marcus Williams and Mittie Lou Williams. Painting was her special gift and was known for designing and painting her Christmas cards every year. She also painted many beautiful oil paintings. Drawing "Things We Don't Do Anymore" was inspired by her favorite artist Norman Rockwell. Jimmie Lou and her husband Dr. Virgil O. Bolton, who preceded her in death, were long-time members of Whitehaven Presbyterian Church. She was also preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Albert Z. Williams. She is survived by her sister, Dorothy Williams Allen (Arthur) of Stuttgart, AR; her nephew Arthur E. Allen (Janet) of Little Rock. AR; her niece Linda Allen Griffith (Thomas) of Anahuac, TX, and five great-nieces and great-nephews and their spouses. She is also survived by friends Ted and Ann Stratton and Mary Ellen McSpadden, who kept watch over her in her last years, She also leaves a host of other friends.
