Jim R. Blasingame, 75, of Germantown, TN passed away on January24, 2024. Jim was a beloved husband, father and grandfather. He was born in Savannah, TN to the late James O. and Ann Brooks Blasingame. As a proud veteran, he served his country in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. He received the Vietnam Service Medal with two Bronze Service Stars; Army Commendation Medal; Republic of Vietnam Campaign Medal; Combat Infantry Badge; Purple Heart National Defense Service Medal, and was and Expert Rifle and Expert M-60 MG. He received his Bachelors Degree from Austin Peay State College in Clarksville, TN, and his Masters at the University of Memphis.

Mr. Blasingame retired from First Horizon Bank as an Executive Vice President where he worked for over 40 years.

Jim served his Lord, Jesus Christ and was a member of Crossroads Baptist Church of Collierville. He loved to play golf, but most of all he loved his family.

Jim leaves his wife of 44years, Claudia Sue Blasingame; four children, Scot Blasingame  ( Emily) of Germantown, Jimmy Blasingame of Germantown, Jill Coppin (Scott) of Memphis and Brandie Harris also of Germantown; 11 grandchildren, Patrick, Justin, Jonathan, Kayla, Chloe, Emma, Trinity, Olivia, Desmond, Iris, and Jaycee; 4 great-grandchildren, Hayden, Alina, Kiley, and Greyson; also one brother, Joe Blasingame (Peggy) of Moscow, TN.
