Joan Josephine Ventrini Pesce, 80, passed away peacefully at her home on April 11, 2019.  She is survived by her husband of sixty years, Johnnie Pesce; two daughters, Angela (Quintin) DeLashmit and Anna Pesce; two sons, Michael (Bonnie) Pesce and John Phillip Pesce; two grandchildren, Maria and Mark; three sisters, Erma Sanford, Shirley Hawkins and Cecilia Mackey; and two brothers, Ernest (Margaret) Ventrini and Paul (Barbara) Ventrini.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Pete and Josephine Ventrini; and her brother, Pete Ventrini, Jr.  Joan was a communicant of St. Paul Catholic Church, and she volunteered at Mother Cabrini Thrift Store.  She worked for many years at Kirby Pines Assisted Living Facility.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to the American Cancer Society.  Funeral Mass will be at 10:00 am, Thursday at St. Paul Catholic Church.  Forest Hill Funeral Home & Memorial Park-South (901) 775-0310
