Joan Walker, Lanphere, 90, passed away on December 28, 2016. She was born on September 14, 1926 in Osawatomie, Kansas to Walter and LaVonne Walker. Mrs. Lanphere was retired from Federal Reserve Bank and was a member of Highland Heights Presbyterian Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Richard Lanphere, Sr. and her parents. Mrs. Lanphere is survived by daughter and son in law, Rebecca (Robert) Sadowski; two sons and a daughter in law, Larry Lanphere and Ricky (Robin) Lanphere; four grandchildren and their spouses, Lauren Shearon (Josh), Brian Sadowski (Jessica), Dusti Anne (Shane) Yarbrough, Charles Walker (Nikki) Lanphere; and nine great grandchildren. Visitation will be 1 p.m. Tuesday, January 3, 2017 until service begins at 2 p.m. at Forest Hill Funeral Home & Memorial Park, East with interment following.
