Joann M. Daniel, 88, of Memphis, TN, went to be with the Lord on March 4, 2015. She was an excellent seamstress, loved cross stitching. Mrs. Daniel was also a member of Colonial Baptist Church and was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, William E. "Ed" Daniel. Mrs. Daniel is survived by her son, Thomas "Tommy" Daniel; daughter in law, Elizabeth; sister, Marcia (Bill) Meals of Southaven, MS; brother, Tom (Karen) McAdams of Oklahoma City, OK; two grandsons, Brian (Donna), Kevin (Stef); and three great granddaughters, Leah, Mallory and Ava. Visitation will be 1 p.m. Monday, March 9 until service begins at 2 p.m. at Forest Hill East Funeral Home and interment following. In lieu of flowers, the family request memorials be sent to Dorothy''s Place or to St. Jude Children''s Research Hospital.
