Joann Harriet Green of Horn Lake, MS, born April 1, 1941 in Taylor, MS. passed away August 6, 2021.  She is survived by her husband of 53 years, James Virgil "Bud" Green; children, Shelia Ellis of Horn Lake, MS and David Green (Renee) of Grenada, MS; sister, Donna Hollowell(Calvin) of West Point, MS; eight grandchildren; Magen, Christina, Ryan, Emily, Maranda, Dalton, Josh and Mixie; and twenty-eight great grandchildren.  She is preceded in death by her parents, Earl Harold & Vada Ophelia Herring Deckard of Taylor, MS; sister, Mary Malone of Alexandria,LA; and her daughter, Rhonda Green Armann of Horn Lake, MS.  Family and friends will gather to celebrate her life, Wednesday, 9:00 am, August 11th, 2021, followed by services at 10:00 am, at Forest Hill Funeral Home & Memorial Park-East 2440 Whitten Road, Memphis, TN
