JoAnn Pate, 81, of Memphis, TN passed away Sunday July 17, 2016. She was preceded in death by her husband of 40 years, Bill Pate. She is survived by her children: Nettie Moore (Charlie), Peggy DeCrow (Greg), and Bill Pate (Jerri); 5 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; and 1 brother, Tommy Burton. Ms. Pate was a member of Goodman Oaks Church of Christ in Southaven. She retired from Oak Hall in 2008 after 37 years of service. A visitation will be held Thursday July 21, 2016 from 5-7 pm with a funeral service Friday morning at 10:00. All services and interment will be held at Forest Hill, South on Holmes Rd. Due to Ms. Pate''s volunteer work with the Run for St. Jude the family requests any memorials be made to St. Jude''s Children Research Hospital.
