JoAnn Spears Teague, 74, of Memphis, born September 15, 1938 in Tyronza, AR to the late Williford and Audrey Spears, passed away September 8, 2013, at her home after a long illness. She was a graduate of Hughes High School in Hughes, AR in the class of 1956. Mrs. Teague was a retired dental office manager for Dr. Ernest Sigman and was a member of Leawood Baptist Church and the Esther Sunday School Class. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 52 years, Dennis Teague. Mrs. Teague is survived by her son, Michael Teague of Bloomington, IN; daughter, Pamela (Bill) Uberti of Memphis; granddaughter, Natalie Uberti of Memphis; 3 sisters, Joyce Bartlett of Trumann, AR, Dorothy Delude of Sun City, AZ, Linda Stracner of Carraway, AR; and a brother, Williford Spears, Jr. of Florence, AL. The family would like to express a special thank you to her team at Crossroads Hospice, and especially to Sarah Willer. Visitation is 5-7 p.m. Tuesday, September 10 and service will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, September 11 at Forest Hill East Funeral Home with interment following.
