Joe L. Evans, 73, of Memphis, TN died Sunday, February 10, 2013. He was retired from the CSX Railroad and a member of Prairie Chapel Missionary Baptist Church in Hazen, AR. Mr. Evans is survived by his wife of 49 years, Ruby Evans; sons, Reginald (Kimberly) Evans and Michael Evans both of Memphis, TN; sister, Grace Coleman of Falls Church, VA; grandchildren, Jennifer Harmon, Jason Smith and James Harmon and great grandchildren, Kayle and Nyson. He was preceded in death by his parents, Willie and Ophelia Evans and sister, Margaret Huggins. Visitation will be 1-2 p.m., Saturday, February 16, 2013 with service to follow at 2 p.m. at Forest Hill South Funeral Home. Interment will be in Forest Hill South Cemetery.
