Joe William Gross, 75, of Memphis, TN went to be with the Lord on February 10, 2018,  He was born on August 14, 1942 in Perryville, TN.  Joe attended Linden High School and graduated in 1960.  Joe drove a truck for 45 years, and thoroughly enjoyed seeing the U.S.  He loved being with his family, Harley's, riding horses and cracking jokes.  He was a Mason for more than 50 years.  He never met a stranger because of his magnetic personality.  His strength, dependability and determination was beyond measure in all aspects of his life.  Joe leave behind to cherish his memory his wife of 53 years, Susan Anderson Gross; his brother, Sammy; three daughters, Leslie Brady (Larry); Kim Sanders (Les); and Amanda Cuneo (Curt); seven grandchildren, Hailey, Katie, Dalton, Logan, Cameron, Bailey and Dylan; and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.  Visitation for Mr. Gross will be held from 12:00 – 2:00 PM on Thursday, February 15, 2018, with funeral services to follow at 2:00 PM.  All services are entrusted to the care of Forest Hill Funeral Home, 2440 Whitten Road, Memphis, TN 38133.  (901) 382-1000.
