Joe R. Yancey, 78, of Memphis, went home to be with his Lord and Savior, August 2, 2013. He retired from Kraft Foods as a Quality Control Lab Technician. He was an Army veteran and a member of the Moose, holding the rank of Pilgrim. Mr. Yancey is survived by his wife, Margaret Yancey; daughter, Sandra Lynch; three step-children, Trena Munns, Charmaine Robinson, Dale Fisher; four sisters, Johnnie Henson, Cleo Boren, Leo Smith, Robbie Newby; a brother, Benny Yancey; eight grandchildren and seventeen great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a step-son, Ken Nolan. Visitation will be from 12 noon on Tuesday, August 6 until service begins at 2 p.m. with interment following.
