JOHN F. CARMICHAEL, 77, passed away Monday while sleeping after a courageous battle of Cancer. John retired from Dover Elevator & Firestone Tire. He was with the Class of 57 Messick High School. Preceded in death by his Mom Frances and Dad, Forrest Carmichael, brothers, Ted and Bubba. He leaves his brother Mark, his loving wife, Irma, three wonderful children, Keith (Dot), Shelly (Brian), Vickie (Brian); four grandchildren, Brittany, Jessica, Hunter and Heath; two great-grandchildren, Angelique and Jasmine; and many relatives and friends. His legacy: let love continue and live to glorify God. Any contributions may be made to Bartlett Woods or Ellendale Church of Christ. Visitation will be Friday, December 26 from 11:30-12:30 followed by service at 1 p.m. at Bartlett Woods Church of Christ. Burial following service at Forest Hill East Cemetery.
