John "Bubba" Carpenter, Jr., 60, passed away December 17, 2013. He was born June 3, 1953 in Memphis, TN and spent his time helping others as a medical assistant for Good Hands Healthcare. Mr. Carpenter was preceded in death by his mother, Joyce E. Carpenter and by one brother, Paul David Carpenter. He is survived by his father, John W. Carpenter, Sr.; two brothers, Larry Bibbs, Butch Bibbs; one sister, Cindy McCormack; one daughter, Lydia Burt; and two grandchildren, Silas and Isabelle. Visitation will be 10 a.m. until service begins at 11 a.m. Saturday, December 21 at Forest Hill East Funeral Home, 2440 Whitten Road, with interment following.
