Walls - John E. Fairchild, 88, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, August 6, 2015. He is preceded in death by his wife of 65 years, Doris M. Fairchild. He leaves behind his son, Robert Fairchild (Rosie) of Walls, three grandsons: Christopher Fairchild (Danielle) of Horn Lake and great-granddaughter Cheyenne; John Fairchild of Collierville, TN and Christopher Bachman of Horn Lake, MS; one granddaughter, Angela Maestri (Mike) of Gulf Shores, Al; one great-grandson, Noah Bachman (Kayla) and great-great-granddaughter Paisley Grace of Maryville, TN; also sisters-in-law, Sue Wilkes (Joe) Lake Charles, LA, and Ellen Fairchild of Epps, LA. Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. on Sunday August 9th at Forest Hill Funeral Home South with service Monday 10 a.m. August 10th at Forest Hill Funeral Home South. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude Children''s Research Hospital.
