Ashland - John Lee Greer, 73, of Ashland, MS died Thursday, August 15, 2013 at his home. He was a retired City of Memphis Firefighter and a member of Ashland Baptist Church. Mr. Greer is survived by his daughter, Joy Bowser (Matthew) of Memphis, TN; sons, John David Greer (Tina) of Las Vegas, NV and Jeff Greer (Theresa) of Nashville, TN; sisters, Mary Alice Simber and Betty Chandler; brother, Clyde Greer, and five grandchildren. Visitation will be 5-7 p.m., Monday, August 19, 2013 at Forest Hill East Funeral Home. Services will be 10 a.m., Tuesday at the funeral home with interment to follow.
