Olive Branch - John Pace Hobbs, Jr., 64 passed away on Saturday, April 6, 2013 at Baptist Memorial Hospital, DeSoto. Mr. Hobbs retired from ICRR after 38 years where he worked as a carman. He was the youngest of nine children born to the late J.P. and Lizzie Mae Hobbs. He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Janice; two children: Brian Thomas Hobbs and Amy Michelle Hobbs Thompson; brother, Marvin H. Hobbs; two sisters: Janie McCord Garner and Martha Dale; and one nephew, Buck Hobbs. Service will be 2 p.m. Monday, April 8 at Forest Hill South with visitation from 12-2 p.m. prior to the service. Interment will be in Forest Hill Midtown Cemetery.
