Southaven - John L. Lamb, 77, of Southaven, MS passed away Thursday, August 7, 2014. He was a clerk at the Army Surplus in Collierville, a retired roofer, a Marine veteran, a member of Southaven Church of Christ and a sprint car driver. Mr. Lamb is survived by his wife of 59 years, Ruby Lamb; daughter, Pam Lamb of Southaven, MS; grandchildren, Tommy, Vera Jo and Nathan Hodges; great-grandchidren, Christy Brotherton and Kelly Hodges. He is also survived by his sisters, Lora Robertson of Oakwood, IL, Nancy Jolly of Texas and brother Walter F. Lamb of IL. Visitation will be 3-5 p.m., Sunday, August 10, 2014 at Forest Hill South Funeral Home. Services will be at 2 p.m., Monday at the funeral home with interment to follow.
