John Michael "Peach" Lemen, 73, passed away, January 7, 2018, at Memphis VA Medical Center after a long illness, surrounded by his family.

He was born in Bedford, Ohio on March 15, 1944, the son of the late Marion Francis Lemen and Anabel Lemen (ne Campbell).

He proudly served in the United States Air Force retiring after 23 years of service. Following his retirement, he worked in the security field retiring after 20 years. He occasionally attended Wells Station Baptist Church. He was also an ardent fan of both the University of Florida Gators and Cleveland Browns. He was also a proud Navy Dad with two daughters and one son having served.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his beloved grand-dog Kilo.

He is survived by his loving wife, Vicki Lynn Lemen (ne Ritchie) of Memphis; daughter, Michaela Lemen of Leesburg, Va; his daughter, Robin Lynn Ballou and son-in-law, Kyle Ballou of Hanover, Pa; daughter, Kristina Walker of Memphis; son, Warren Walker of Memphis; son, Joshua Walker of Firestone, Co; and daughter-in-law, Denise Kaylor Walker of Memphis; and 7 grandchildren: Michael, Lilly, Ariel, Malerie, Ethan, Kris, and Kaden.

He is also survived by his two sisters: Nancy Cingel of Macedonia, Oh, and Marge Herron of Bedford Ohio; sisters-in-law Norma Kormann and Sherry McDougal, both of Memphis; and brothers-in-law J.R. Ritchie and Charlie Ritchie of New Castle, De.

Visitation will be held Friday, January 8, 2018 from 5 p.m. until 6 p.m. at Forest Hill Funeral Home and Memorial Park chapel located at 2440 Whitten Rd, Memphis. Arrangements are under the direction of Forest Hill Funeral Home and Memorial Park

Memorial Service will be held 6 p.m. at Forest Hill Funeral Home and Memorial Park chapel.
