John W. Moore, 76, of Memphis, TN died Wednesday, July 3, 2013 at his home. He was a member of Crossroads United Methodist Church, retired from Loomis Armored, worked at Southern Central and Cleo Wrap, and a U.S. Navy veteran. Mr. Moore is survived by his wife of 56 years, Mollie, whom he loved more than anything. He was preceded in death by his first child, Lisa Moore and is survived by his daughter, Dana Carmon (Don); sons, Bubba Moore (Terri) and Darrel Moore (Beverly); brothers, Bobby Moore (Georgia), Tommy Moore (Shirley), and Billy Moore. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Stephanie Moore, Josh Ulrich (Alyssa), Patrick Ulrich (Kathryne), Dustin Moore, Brandon Crabtree, Jeanne Moore, Austin Jordan (Ashley), Kyle Carmon, Colin Carmon, Kathleen Moore, Will Carmon, Max Carmon and Dakota Moore; great grandchildren, Gage, Izabel, Madison, Gavin, Autumn, Zoey, and Parker, and his extended family, Nick, Michelle, Gina, Taylor, Jim, Bryan, Kobe, Kiera, Gavin, Maiya, Emma, Aubree and Sean. His greatest pleasure was being with his family. He raised four children and two of his grandchildren, Josh and Patrick. Mr. Moore was preceded in death by his parents, Greene & Irene Moore and siblings, Pansy Brinkley, Mattie Chapman, and Buford Moore. Visitation will be 5-7 P.M., Sunday, July 7, 2013 at Forest Hill East Funeral Home. Services will be at 2 P.M., Monday, July 8, 2013 at the funeral home with interment to follow.
