John T. Parsons, Sr., 93, passed away Tuesday, July 16, 2019.   He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Mattie; two sons, John T. Parsons (Tracy), of Searcy, AR; Ronnie Crawford, of Memphis, TN; step son, Paul Crawford;  two brothers, Ray Parsons, of Dexter, MO; Charlie Parsons of Mound City, IL; three grandchildren, Avery Parsons, Emily Francisco, and Phil Parsons.  He was preceded in death by two sons, John T. Parsons, Jr. and Calvin Wayne Parsons.  John and Mattie were long-time members of Colonial Hills Baptist Church.  Family and friends will gather to share memories, 12:00 pm-2:00 pm, Tuesday, followed by services at 2:00 pm.  Both at Forest Hill Funeral Home – Midtown.  Burial will follow at Forest Hill South Cemetery
