John C. Sharp, SR, 87, passed away on October 24, 2019, in Memphis, TN.  Mr. Sharp served his country honorably in the United States Navy and served during the Korean War.  He was a 32 ^nd Degree Scottish Rite Mason and was retired from Quebecor Printing.  He was preceded in death by his wife, Era Marie Sharp, son in law, Chris Azotea, son, John Sharp St. Laurent, son, David Gilbreath, one brother, Hugh Sharp, and son John Gilbreath.  Left to cherish his memory are his children, Teresa Sharp George (David) of Marshall, TX, Anita Azotea of Burlison, TN, and Randy Gilbreath (Julia) of Ripley, TN. and three nieces. Mr. Sharp was blessed with thirteen grandchildren, twenty-one great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild. Visitation with his family will be on Tuesday, October 29, 2019, from 1:00~2:00 PM with funeral service and Military Honors following at 2:00 PM at Forest Hill Funeral Home and Memorial Park - East on Whitten Road. 901-382-1000 Burial will be at Randolph Cemetery in Tipton Co.
