John Ace Williams was born on December 8, 1938, in Water Valley, Mississippi, to the late John and Lorine Williams.
He professed his faith in Christ at an early age, at Progressive Baptist Church, under the leadership of Pastor O.C. Collins.
John Ace graduated from Booker T. Washington High School, where he also played football.
He was a horseman, a mechanic, and a forklift driver, for Firestone Tire and Rubber, until the doors closed. He then went to work for United Stationary, from which he retired.
He leaves to cherish his memories: his loving wife, Stella Williams of 55 years; two sons, Jeffery Williams (LaQuita) and Kevin Williams (Quo-Vadis); one daughter, Becky Riggins (Nathaniel); six grandchildren, Jerrica Williams, Justin Williams, Jaylah Williams, Kylin Williams, Christopher Williams, and Joshua Riggins; three great grandchildren; Tahj Logwood, Dawson Jones, and Leonidus Riggins, and four brothers, Amos Williams (Lillian), Miles Williams (Gloria), Jerome Williams, and Ernest Williams; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and other loving relatives and friends.
He was proceeded in death by three sisters: Bessie, Mary, and Carrie; one brother, Lomax, one sisters-in-law: Vera; and one son, Anthony.
